In this episode, Dan will be talking about suicide prevention with two of our mental health providers who have a lot of experience on this topic. Suicide is a sensitive topic. If you choose to listen, please consider listening with someone you trust, or, after listening, talking with someone you trust or with a mental health provider.
The suicide statistics in the U.S. are staggering. However, there are so many options to try to help people who are in pain or despair feel better. Your life has value, worth and purpose, even if the darkness or despair are making you feel differently. There is help for you or a loved one who is suffering or feeling hopeless. It’s important to see the warning signs, ask for help, and know where to find it. The more we talk about suicide prevention, the more power we will have in reversing this mental health crisis. If you are suffering, get help today. You are not alone.
